Construction and sales for family owned real estate development company in Mono County, California.
Assisted in the development and marketing of Sierra East, a planned unit development single family home subdivision and Shingle Mill Flatts, a recreational campground, both developments in Mono County, California.
1978 – 1984 – High Sierra Concerts
Assisted in all facets of major attraction concert promotion and production in Reno, Nevada for Las Vegas based promotor.
1985 – 1989 – Travel With Us, Travel Agency
Marketing Director for Reno branch office and contract marketing consultant for Scottsdale, Arizona based corporate office. Traveled around the country conducting marketing planning seminars with newly opened branch office owners and staff, started Reno Ramblers, a travel club for singles, and Discount Cruise Center, a company specializing on cruises sales.
1990 – 1996 – Stage Craft
Marketing Director for theatrical set construction company which provided custom fabrication for major touring attractions and events, and special events management. Opened Brach office in Nashville, Tennessee, developed new accounts.
1997 – 2010 – Real Estate Broker, Keller Williams, Murfreesboro, Tennessee (retired license in 2011).
Residential real estate marketing and sales in the greater Nashville metropolitan and surrounding area.
2011 to present – Owner / Creative Director, Mark Stout Media
Storytelling, digital communications, creative writing, video production, animation, illustration, website creation utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).

In 1995 I served as Marketing Director for Stage Craft, a theatrical set construction business. Among other noteworthy accomplishments Stage Craft built the mind bending flowering mirror ball effect (shown below) for Pink Floyd’s 1994 world tour.

California Marijuana Law Reform
Internship – In 1977, as a student at California State University at Chico, I served as a student intern at NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Law) at the San Francisco office on the corner of Union and Fillmore and worked on Assembly Bill AB 367 introduced by Assemblyman Willie Brown.
